About clear-line-ops

Clear Line Ops is a hosted remote MCP server for engineering, architecture, research, and automation tasks. Its tool set includes CAD generation and conversion, web research, website creation, and media processing.

Key features

  1. 01150+ hosted tools
  2. 02Describe-to-build CAD and scan-to-CAD
  3. 03Architecture plans and exports
  4. 04Search, scraping, and web checks
  5. 05Website and front-end generation
  6. 06Audio and video processing

Use cases

  1. 01Creating CAD models and cut lists from a brief
  2. 02Converting scans or meshes into dimensioned drawings
  3. 03Planning architecture and exporting models
  4. 04Researching websites or processing media

MCP support

MCP clients connect to its hosted endpoint over streamable HTTP and authenticate with a Bearer API key. It exposes engineering, architecture, research, media, and other tools.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Clear Line Ops MCP Server

A hosted remote MCP server with 150+ tools for engineering, architecture, research and automation. Nothing to install: connect your MCP client to the URL below. Built by Mark Farrell.

Endpoint: https://mcp.clear-line-operations.com/mcp (streamable HTTP, Bearer API key) Site and free trial: https://mcp.clear-line-operations.com (25 free credits, no card)

What it does

  • Engineering and CAD: describe a project in plain language and get a 3D model, DXF cut layout, cut list, bill of materials and build steps (cad_build); mechanical parts, gears, gearboxes, beam and fastener calculators; scan or mesh (STL/OBJ/PLY) to dimensioned CAD drawings (cad_reverse). Web workbench at /engineering.
  • Architecture: a one-line brief becomes a laid-out floor plan, 3D walk-through studio, IFC/DXF/STL export and a bill of materials priced from live market data (arch_design, arch_review). Free sample at /architects.
  • Web and research: search, scraping, extraction, crawling, DNS/TLS/security checks, feeds, sitemaps.
  • Website builder: generate and host sites and front ends instantly.
  • Media: FFmpeg audio and video conversion, captions, transcription.
  • Crime and cyber research, crypto and markets, ads and marketing, game and music tools.

Weapons, ammunition, explosives and military platform design requests are refused.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
