Plugins
umbhost-mcp
Connects Claude to the UmbHost MCP server and teaches an agent to find, price, and order UmbHost Umbraco hosting and UmbCheckout licences — list live plans, price a fully configured order (config options, add-ons, optional domain, monthly/annual, six currencies), check domain availability, and start a checkout a human completes. Prices are live and exclude VAT; the agent never takes payment.
claude plugin install umbhost-mcp@umbhost
greenstack-umbraco
The greenstack-umbraco-setup skill — configure, deploy and troubleshoot an Umbraco 13 or 17 site
on GreenStack, single-instance or load-balanced, across any Git
provider and any Docker registry Portainer supports. Owns the GreenStack platform contract, the
v13/v17 and single/load-balanced deltas, and the SignalR backplane for a multi-replica backoffice.
Pairs with umbpanel-mcp to carry out the UmbPanel-side steps; works standalone otherwise (guided
portal fallback).
claude plugin install greenstack-umbraco@umbhost
umbpanel-mcp
Connects Claude to the UmbPanel MCP server (https://www.umbpanel.io/mcp)
to manage a member's existing UmbHost hosting — GreenStack Docker services, registries, deploys and
the deploy webhook; Cloudflare DNS, zone settings, cache and custom hostnames; databases, SFTP and email;
registered domains; sharing a service; support tickets and licences — acting as the signed-in member
over OAuth. The authenticated counterpart to umbhost-mcp (which buys hosting); often installed
alongside greenstack-umbraco.
claude plugin install umbpanel-mcp@umbhost
umbhost-kb-mcp
Connects Claude to the public UmbHost Knowledgebase MCP server
(https://kb.umbhost.net/mcp) so an agent can search and read
UmbHost's help articles (search_docs, get_doc, list_docs) and cite them, instead of guessing.
Read-only, no login. greenstack-umbraco uses it for platform details and troubleshooting.
claude plugin install umbhost-kb-mcp@umbhost

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
