}
}
}
Run commandnpx -y @darkhorseone/mcp-server-uk-parliament-interests

Local servers need a runtime on your machine (e.g. Node.js 18+). Config file locations differ by client; see your client’s docs.

MCP Compatible AI Agent Ready

UK Parliament Register of Interests MCP Server

Summary

This MCP server provides structured access to the UK Parliament Register of Interests using the Model Context Protocol. It enables AI agents to query interest categories, published registers, and interest records through API-backed tools and data access. Developers can integrate the MCP server via stdio transport to retrieve registers, interests, and PDFs for analysis workflows. The server exposes tools that map directly to the Register of Interests API, optimized for AI agents and developer tooling.

Features

  • List interest categories and fetch category details by id.
  • Retrieve published registers, register PDFs, and register metadata.
  • Query interests with filters for members, dates, and categories.
  • Preserve upstream payloads in a standardized envelope for downstream tools and AI agents.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
