About FateMCP Destiny Weight

FateMCP Destiny Weight is a remote service that applies the Yuan Tiangang method to a Gregorian birth date, hour, and gender, then returns an English reading. Its calculation runs on the server, for entertainment or reflection.

Key features

  1. 01Calculate Destiny Weight
  2. 02Use birth date, hour, and gender
  3. 03Convert Gregorian dates to lunar dates
  4. 04Generate an English reading

Use cases

  1. 01Check a Destiny Weight from birth details
  2. 02Read about career, wealth, and relationships
  3. 03Use the reading for entertainment or reflection

MCP support

The remote MCP service exposes the calculate_destiny_weight tool. It accepts a Gregorian birth year, month, day, hour, and gender, and returns an English reading.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

FateMCP Destiny Weight

A remote MCP service that calculates your Destiny Weight and returns an English destiny reading — based on the ancient Chinese method attributed to the Tang Dynasty astronomer Yuan Tiangang, written for a Western audience.

What is it?

It is an ancient Chinese method of fortune telling, attributed to the Tang Dynasty astronomer Yuan Tiangang. Unlike Western astrology which looks at planetary positions, this method calculates your "destiny weight" based on your exact birth date and time, measured in traditional Chinese units — liang and qian.

How does it work?

In this system, every year, month, day, and hour of birth is assigned a specific weight. You add these four values together to get your total Destiny Weight. This total corresponds to a specific verse that describes your life's trajectory, including career, wealth, and relationships. The algorithm runs entirely on the server — no local installation or execution required.

Why is it interesting?

Think of it as a "Life Horoscope" but based on numerical weight rather than star signs. A heavier destiny weight generally suggests a life with more stability, wealth, or social status, while a lighter weight might indicate a life requiring more personal effort and resilience. However, tradition also holds that lighter weights can indicate a self-made, resilient destiny. It's often used for entertainment or self-reflection, similar to reading daily horoscopes.

Quick Start

This is a remote MCP service. The algorithm runs entirely on the server — you install nothing locally and the algorithm never leaves the server. Just point your MCP client at the endpoint:

MCP Agent configuration

Add to your MCP config:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "fatemcp-destiny-weight": {
      "type": "streamableHttp",
      "url": "https://mcp.fatemcp.com/destiny-weight"
    }
  }
}

For clients without native Streamable HTTP support (e.g., older Claude Desktop versions):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "fatemcp-destiny-weight": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://mcp.fatemcp.com/destiny-weight"]
    }
  }
}

Required information

To calculate a reading, ask the user for their Gregorian birth date and time:

FieldDescription
Birth yearGregorian year
Birth month1-12
Birth day1-31
Birth hour0-23 (24h)
Gendermale / female (the same weight yields different readings for each)

The API accepts a Gregorian date; the server converts it to the lunar (Chinese) calendar automatically. The hour is required — it determines the birth-hour weight. Note: Births between 23:00 and 00:00 are traditionally counted as the next lunar day; the server handles this. For leap months: the first half counts as the current month, the second half as the next; the server handles this too.

Tool: calculate_destiny_weight

Parameters
ParameterTypeRequiredDescription
yearintegeryesBirth year (Gregorian)
monthintegeryesBirth month (1-12)
dayintegeryesBirth day (1-31)
hourintegeryesBirth hour (0-23)

Output

Returns the English destiny reading as text, e.g.:

Destiny Weight: 3.7 (reference range: 2.1–7.2)

A life of financial tides. Money comes, money goes—never quite settling into a permanent
stack. You are capable and upright, unwilling to cut corners or exploit others...

The gift here is integrity. People with this weight sleep soundly because their
conscience is clean...

Privacy

  • All calculations run on the server
  • Only birth information is sent; nothing is stored or logged

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
