About dynamic-telegram-bot-api-mcp

dynamic-telegram-bot-api-mcp exposes Telegram’s Bot API through a searchable catalog and a generic call tool. It is intended for MCP clients that need to inspect API schemas and invoke methods, with catalog updates sourced from Telegram’s documentation.

Key features

  1. 01Search Bot API methods
  2. 02Inspect method and type schemas
  3. 03Validate and call cataloged methods
  4. 04Refresh the API schema
  5. 05Support controlled local file uploads

Use cases

  1. 01Find a Bot API method and inspect its parameters
  2. 02Call Telegram methods from an MCP client
  3. 03Refresh the catalog after Telegram API updates
  4. 04Send local files through upload-capable methods

MCP support

Provides five MCP tools for searching and inspecting the Telegram API catalog, executing cataloged methods, and refreshing the schema. Catalog lookups work without a bot token; API calls require one.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
