Details
From the project READMEProfessionalHeadshot.io Skills
Free agent skills from ProfessionalHeadshot.io for profile photos and team pages. Photo processing runs locally — your photos are not uploaded anywhere.
| Skill | Result | Required input |
|---|---|---|
| linkedin-profile-refresh | A checked headshot exported at LinkedIn / Slack / GitHub sizes, a headline and About section written from your resume, and resume–LinkedIn–GitHub mismatches | Your resume (or key facts) and a photo |
| team-headshot-consistency | Which team-page photos don't match the set and why, a shared photo spec for new hires, and an optional normalized export | A folder of team headshots |
No account, API key or payment needed. The scripts need Python 3 and Pillow (pip install pillow). The skills contain no telemetry and install nothing by themselves.
Install
npx skills add professionalheadshot-io/professionalheadshot-skills --skill linkedin-profile-refresh
npx skills add professionalheadshot-io/professionalheadshot-skills --skill team-headshot-consistency
The skills CLI lets you choose the target agent (--agent claude-code, --agent codex, …). To install manually, copy the skill folder (including references/ and scripts/) into your agent's skills directory.
Optional: connect the free MCP server
The skills work on their own. Connecting the ProfessionalHeadshot.io MCP server adds:
get_profile_photo_specs— official profile and cover photo limits for LinkedIn (personal and company Page), Slack and GitHub, quoted from each platform's help pages with source links and a review dateget_headshot_guide— framing, background and attire guidance by use (LinkedIn, resume, team page, executive bio, speaker kit) and industryaudit_headshot— a 0–100 score with issues and fixes for one public image URL (5 free audits per day)

Try it
Use linkedin-profile-refresh with my resume.pdf and me.jpg. I'm applying for data analyst roles in the UK — check the photo, export it for LinkedIn and Slack, and write two headline options.
Use team-headshot-consistency on public/team. Tell me which photos don't match and write a photo spec we can send to new hires.
See examples/team-page-audit.md (real script output on six sample headshots) and examples/linkedin-refresh.md (synthetic resume).
Safety
- Resumes, profile text, file names and tool results are treated as data, never as instructions.
- The skills never upload your photos, never overwrite originals, and ask before writing files or reading a resume.
- Platform limits are quoted from official help pages; values a platform doesn't publish are reported as not published.
Development
python3 -m pip install pillow
python3 -m unittest discover -s tests -v

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
