About Agent Kiosk — 23-in-1 B2A Intelligence, Action & x402 API

Agent Kiosk is an MCP server and pay-per-call API for autonomous agents, trading bots, coding assistants, and research workflows on Base Mainnet. Its endpoints span finance, security, web and research tasks, with x402 payments and cryptographic response attestations.

Key features

  1. 0123 paid per-call API endpoints
  2. 02Prepaid 30-day API pass
  3. 03EVM transaction simulation
  4. 04Funding-rate and macro data
  5. 05Security and compliance checks
  6. 06Swap and bridge calldata generation

Use cases

  1. 01Simulating EVM transactions before submission
  2. 02Checking token, contract, or wallet risks
  3. 03Comparing funding rates and DeFi yields
  4. 04Retrieving research, market, or company data

MCP support

The `/mcp` Streamable HTTP endpoint exposes 24 tools, four prompts, and three resources. Paid calls accept payment details or an API key for full results; unauthenticated tool calls generally return teaser previews.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

A. Base Mainnet Settlement Facilitators (We Are the Seller, Not a Facilitator)

Agent Kiosk verifies and settles incoming EIP-3009 (TransferWithAuthorization) USDC signatures on Base Mainnet (eip155:8453 / base) using a multi-facilitator failover pipeline configured in src/x402.js:

The on-chain transaction hash is also echoed in the HTTP 200 JSON body as tx_hash.
C. Timeouts, Uncertain Settlement & Recovery Instructions
  1. Server & Challenge Timeouts:
    • Every 402 Payment Required challenge specifies maxTimeoutSeconds: 60. Buyers should sign EIP-3009 TransferWithAuthorization messages with validAfter = 0 and validBefore >= now + 300 seconds.
    • Server-side facilitator calls enforce a 6.5-second timeout per facilitator on POST /verify and a 10.0-second timeout per facilitator on POST /settle.
    • If the primary facilitator (facilitator.payai.network) returns an HTTP/network error on /verify or /settle, the middleware automatically fails over to the next configured facilitator (facilitator.dexter.cash). If a signature is cryptographically invalid (invalid_exact_evm_signature), the server immediately returns HTTP 402 with the exact error reason without retrying.
  2. Handling Uncertain Settlement (Client Timeout / Network Drop):
    • Each EIP-3009 TransferWithAuthorization uses a unique 32-byte nonce. Once consumed on Base Mainnet, the USDC contract (0x833589fCD6eDb6E08f4c7C32D4f71b54bdA02913) permanently marks that (authorizer, nonce) pair as used (AuthorizationUsed event), making replay or double-charging of the same signature impossible on-chain.
    • Rule for Buyers on Timeout: If your HTTP request times out or disconnects after sending PAYMENT-SIGNATURE, do NOT immediately sign a new nonce:
      1. Query Base USDC (0x833589fCD6eDb6E08f4c7C32D4f71b54bdA02913) via authorizationState(address authorizer, bytes32 nonce) (0xe94a0102) or check https://basescan.org/address/0xd8429209Aee6A398B9707DFf5F28AAA93452eE95#tokentxns.
      2. If authorizationState is false (not settled on-chain): You can safely retry the request using the exact same PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header (same nonce) until validBefore expires, or wait for validBefore to pass before signing a new nonce.
      3. If authorizationState is true (settled on-chain, but HTTP response was lost in transit): Open an issue at github.com/ralf9090/agent-kiosk/issues with the Base txHash, endpoint path, and timestamp for immediate response replay or a complimentary Prepaid API Pass credit.

3. Verified Base Mainnet Settlement Evidence (Operator Tests)

Disclosure: The transactions below are operator test payments executed against the live production deployment (https://agent-kiosk.vercel.app) and settled on Base Mainnet (eip155:8453) via the PayAI Network facilitator (https://facilitator.payai.network/settle), not third-party customer volume.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
