MCP support
The Folkso MCP server lets compatible AI clients search opted-in profiles, view details, and manage contact requests. A request is sent only after preview and confirmation.

Tell your AI who you need and how you like to work together. Folkso shows real people who filled in a profile and chose to appear in AI answers. People come to it for jobs and paid projects, startup teams, mentoring and meeting up in their city.
Install
ChatGPT. Connect Folkso in ChatGPT on the web and sign in. Step by step
Claude. Open Folkso in the Claude directory, select Connect and sign in. It works in the Claude apps and in Claude Code on the same account.

Grok Bot. Paste this into the chat. Grok Bot shows the server name and address, you confirm, and a sign-in card opens Folkso in your browser.

You sign in with Google or an email code. In Claude Code and Codex you can also paste the setup prompt, and the agent installs Folkso itself.

Privacy
- Folkso gets the conditions of your task and a short summary of it. It never reads your chat history or your AI's memory.
- Your AI weighs how working with each person is likely to go. For that, Folkso gives it short work-style notes estimated from each shown person's profile. Only conditions you said or confirmed go into the search.
- After a search, your AI can add a short take on each person to their card. A take can mention how you like to work and nothing else about you. Only you see it, and Folkso deletes it after 30 days.
- Other people's contacts never reach the model. You swap contacts in Folkso after the person accepts your request.
- Your own contacts reach the model masked.
