About Lodging Decision
Lodging Decision is an agent-facing MCP server that produces deterministic lodging recommendations from traveler profiles, trip context, and candidate listings. It accepts only non-sensitive categories and does not search inventory, book, transact, or persist data.
Key features
- 01Score and recommend candidate lodgings
- 02Return score breakdowns, tradeoffs, and risk flags
- 03Identify missing information and provide confidence
- 04Reject inputs referencing protected characteristics
Use cases
- 01Compare lodging options by budget and location
- 02Evaluate amenities and cancellation policies for a trip type
- 03Review recommendation risks, tradeoffs, and information gaps
MCP support
It exposes a single `lodging_decision` tool for MCP clients to submit traveler profiles, trip context, and candidate listings. The server uses Streamable HTTP transport.
Configuration
Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
