MCP support
It exposes tools for product listings, version lookups, sunset checks, and batch queries to MCP clients. Paid requests return an x402 challenge for the calling agent to handle; the server holds no private key.
Configuration
Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.
npx -y @scoutwyze/fips-mcpSCOUTWYZE_API_KEYSecretOptional prepaid API key (POST /v1/signup, then buy credits). Without it, fips_lookup gives a few free lookups per day, then returns an x402 payment challenge.SCOUTWYZE_FIPS_BASE_URLOverrides the API base URL (https://scoutwyze-fips.fly.dev). For local development only.Local servers need a runtime on your machine (e.g. Node.js 18+). Config file locations differ by client; see your client’s docs.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
