About Sezzlee PostgreSQL
Sezzlee PostgreSQL is a read-only MCP server for exploring PostgreSQL catalogs, schemas and query results. It uses read-only transactions, bounded cursor batches and safeguards around query execution.
Key features
- 01Describe database connections
- 02Search catalog objects
- 03Inspect tables, columns and constraints
- 04Run bounded read-only queries
- 05Stream rows in batches of up to 128
Use cases
- 01Find readable tables and views
- 02Inspect a table's columns and constraints
- 03Query permitted data without changing it
MCP support
Exposes connection description, catalog search, table inspection and query tools to MCP clients. Each request runs in a read-only transaction that is rolled back afterward.
Configuration
Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
