About ngx-json-render UI
ngx-json-render UI is an MCP App prototype that renders model-provided UI specifications as Angular Material components inside chat. It adds an Angular view to the upstream server and supports partial-input rendering, host themes, and actions that send messages to the model.
Key features
- 01Angular Material UI catalog
- 02Inline dashboards, forms and tables
- 03Rendering from partial tool input
- 04Host theme support
- 05Send UI actions as chat messages
Use cases
- 01Render a dashboard in an MCP host chat
- 02Show forms and tables from a UI specification
- 03Update the view while tool input streams
- 04Send a form submission into the conversation
MCP support
The MCP server exposes the read-only `render-ui` tool and a `ui://` view through `@json-render/mcp`. It supports stdio and Streamable HTTP, and the view can send messages through the host's message capability.
Configuration
Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
