From the project READMESponsorable MCP server
Connect the Sponsorable podcast-sponsorship database to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any other client that speaks the Model Context Protocol.
Find brands that already sponsor podcasts like yours—then reveal the buyer to pitch, by name and email. The same detections that power sponsorable.com, read from 4M+ podcast sponsorships across 5.4M shows and updated daily, available to your AI assistant as tools it calls on your behalf.
This repo holds connection config, examples, and the registry manifest. The server itself is hosted by Sponsorable—there's nothing to install or run locally.

ChatGPT
Go to chatgpt.com/plugins → plus button → Add custom MCP server →
Public endpoint https://app.sponsorable.com/mcp → sign in → Create as a plugin → install. In a new
chat, type @ and pick Sponsorable. No plus button? Turn on Developer mode under Settings → Security
and login first. Added it before 2026-10-21? Delete the plugin and add it again: ChatGPT remembers its
first look at a server, and before that date this one did not yet speak ChatGPT's protocol revision.

Tools
Every plan connects, Free included; a slice of the catalog even works with no account at all (the public sponsor directory). Credit mechanics match the web app—nothing is double-charged, and every unlock is shared with your whole organization.
| Tool | Plans | What it does |
|---|---|---|
find_sponsors_for_show | All + anonymous | A show's detected sponsors, plus category-fit sponsors, each with a reason |
search_sponsors | All + anonymous | Search and filter the sponsor database (category, industry, activity, recency) |
get_sponsor | All + anonymous | Full sponsor profile. On Free, the first view spends 1 credit and unlocks the dossier permanently, org-wide |
search / fetch | All + anonymous | Deep-research compatibility pair (ChatGPT); fetch never spends credits |
list_sponsor_contacts | All | Buyer contacts at a brand, ranked. Masked until revealed; on Free, available once the sponsor is unlocked |
reveal_contact | Free & Starter | Reveal a buyer's name, email, and LinkedIn (1 credit; Pro gets contacts unmasked already) |
| categories | All | Browse the category tree and category-level sponsor activity |
| list management | All | Create and manage saved prospect lists |
search_podcasts / get_podcast | Pro | Search the podcast database and per-show sponsor history |

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
