MCP support
The hosted remote MCP server at https://ssamtool.com/mcp lets compatible AI clients operate the open SsamCut project. It exposes project, clip, media, editing, subtitle, styling and export capabilities; imported media must be added in SsamCut first.

SsamCut (쌤컷) is a free, install-free video editor that runs in the browser: https://ssamtool.com/tool/cut/ Its remote MCP server lets AI apps such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor edit the SsamCut project you have open — cut, auto-subtitle, add effects and export — just by asking in chat.

- Transport: Streamable HTTP · Auth: OAuth (Google sign-in)
- Price: free (SsamCut and the MCP connection). Your AI app's own plan limits still apply.
- Privacy: your video files stay in your browser. The server only relays the AI's requests and results (clip times, text, small preview frames) and does not store them.
- The same connector also controls SsamGeul (쌤글), a free browser editor for HWP·HWPX·DOCX·PDF documents (

Connect
Claude (web / desktop) — Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → Name SsamCut, URL https://ssamtool.com/mcp → Connect → sign in with Google and allow. Leave advanced OAuth fields empty.
ChatGPT — Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → turn on Developer mode → Create → Name SsamCut, MCP server URL https://ssamtool.com/mcp, Authentication OAuth → sign in with Google and allow.

Other MCP clients (Cursor, etc.) can connect with the same URL.
Then open a project in SsamCut. The AI edits the editor tab you have open. Import your video/photo/music into SsamCut first — the AI can place imported media on the timeline but cannot upload files.
