About changeflow

changeflow is an MCP server for managing website monitoring and retrieving AI-enriched change intelligence. It serves teams tracking regulatory, legal, competitive, or procurement information across web pages, PDFs, RSS feeds, and APIs.

Key features

  1. 01Create and manage monitored sources
  2. 02Search and retrieve changes
  3. 03Get AI summaries and structured diffs
  4. 04Trigger checks and pause or resume sources

Use cases

  1. 01Monitor regulatory guidance pages
  2. 02Track changes to legal research sources
  3. 03Review competitor website updates
  4. 04Check procurement-related sources

MCP support

The server exposes tools to list, create, inspect, and control monitoring sources, and to search changes. It supports local use and a remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; an API token is required.

Configuration

Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

mcp.json · Universal config
{
"mcpServers": {
"stevebutterworth-changeflow": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"-y",
"changeflow-mcp-server"
],
"env": {
"CHANGEFLOW_API_TOKEN": "<CHANGEFLOW_API_TOKEN>"
}
}
}
}
Run commandnpx -y changeflow-mcp-server
Environment variables to set
CHANGEFLOW_API_TOKENSecretYour Changeflow API token from https://changeflow.com/account/api

Local servers need a runtime on your machine (e.g. Node.js 18+). Config file locations differ by client; see your client’s docs.

Changeflow MCP Server

Monitor any website and get AI-enriched change intelligence via MCP. Manage sources, search changes, and automate web monitoring from Claude, Harvey, or any MCP client.

Requires a Changeflow API token. Get one from your account settings.

What is Changeflow?

Changeflow is an enterprise web intelligence platform. It monitors web pages, PDFs, RSS feeds, and APIs for changes, then uses AI to tell you what changed, why it matters, and what to do about it. Used by compliance teams, legal researchers, competitive intelligence analysts, and procurement teams at Fortune 500 companies and Am Law 200 firms.

Quick Start

Claude Desktop

Add to your claude_desktop_config.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "changeflow": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["changeflow-mcp-server"],
      "env": {
        "CHANGEFLOW_API_TOKEN": "your_api_token_here"
      }
    }
  }
}

Then ask Claude: "List my Changeflow sources" or "Create a new source to monitor fda.gov/guidance"

Remote (Harvey, OpenAI, Claude Code)

Connect directly to the Streamable HTTP endpoint:

POST https://changeflow.com/mcp
Content-Type: application/json

Authorization: Bearer your_api_token_here

Rate limit: 100 requests per hour.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
