Swift iOS Development Automation Platform is an archived, unmaintained Swift MCP server project retained as a technical reference for Xcode automation. It covers real-time build analysis, multi-simulator management, UI automation, and sandbox-oriented security design.
Key features
- 01Detect and categorize build errors in real time
- 02Manage multiple simulators
- 03Automate UI through the Accessibility API
- 04Generate screenshot and video documentation
- 05Use App Sandbox and user-controlled permissions
Use cases
- 01Monitor file changes and inspect build errors
- 02Manage multiple simulators concurrently
- 03Automate UI through accessibility features
MCP support
The MCP server is designed for Xcode automation and provides MCP clients with build intelligence, multi-simulator management, and UI automation capabilities. The project is archived and no longer maintained.
Configuration
Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.
We haven’t collected a package or remote endpoint for this server. Follow the instructions in the project README.
Tools
Local servers expose tools only once running on your machine, and the maintainer has not provided a tool list.

This was built to close the 90-second Xcode build-feedback loop before coding agents could do it on their own. They caught up. The workflow this server existed to solve is now handled directly by agent tooling, so there was no reason to keep developing it.
Left public as a technical reference — Swift 6 strict concurrency, an MCP server implementation in Swift rather than Node, and multi-simulator orchestration. Not maintained; issues and pull requests aren't monitored. Fork it freely.

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
