About TalkPix

TalkPix is a hosted service for creating product ads, talking-photo videos, and AI video clips from Claude, ChatGPT, or another MCP client. Its tools check the credit price before starting a render, and support tracking generations and uploading photos.

Key features

  1. 01Create presenter-led product ads
  2. 02Make talking-photo videos
  3. 03Generate prompt-based AI video
  4. 04Check costs, models, and credit balance
  5. 05Track renders and upload photos

Use cases

  1. 01Create a product ad from a chat
  2. 02Turn a photo and script into speech video
  3. 03Generate a video clip from a prompt
  4. 04Check a render’s cost before starting

MCP support

TalkPix exposes its video creation and account tools through a hosted remote MCP server using Streamable HTTP and OAuth 2.1. Credit-consuming renders require a price check and an explicit expected_credits value before they start.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Copy install command

Cursor.cursor/mcp.json
VS Code.vscode/mcp.json

Windsurf~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json

Run commands in a terminal; paste JSON into the client’s MCP config and restart. Servers that need sign-in will prompt on first connect.

TalkPix MCP server

Make AI product ads, talking-photo videos and AI video clips from inside Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client, using your TalkPix credits.

This is a hosted remote MCP server. There is nothing to install or run locally.

  • Transport: Streamable HTTP
  • Auth: OAuth 2.1 (dynamic client registration). You sign in to TalkPix and approve the connection.
  • Billing: the same prepaid credits as the TalkPix website. No subscription required.

Price first, always

Every tool that spends credits returns the price first and starts nothing. The assistant has to tell you the cost and call again with expected_credits before a render starts. You can also set a per-video and a daily budget on TalkPix; anything above it opens a confirmation page instead of spending.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
