MCP support

Exposes four finance tools to MCP clients and forwards their requests from a local stdio bridge to the nexgendata Apify MCP endpoint.

Configuration

Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

Yahoo Finance MCP Server

Get real-time stock quotes, historical data, and compare stocks via Yahoo Finance — powered by nexgendata on Apify.

Quick Start

Using npx (recommended)
npx @nexgendata/yahoo-finance-mcp-server
Install globally
npm install -g @nexgendata/yahoo-finance-mcp-server

How It Works

This MCP server acts as a local stdio bridge to the nexgendata Apify MCP endpoint. When you call a tool, it forwards the request to Apify and returns the results.
