MCP support

It exposes TheRundown’s public documentation search to MCP clients over the remote endpoint https://docs.therundown.io/mcp. It does not access live odds, scores, or authenticated Product API data.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

TheRundown Documentation MCP

This is the official Cursor plugin wrapper for TheRundown's public documentation MCP at https://docs.therundown.io/mcp.

The server searches published API documentation: endpoint contracts, V2 event and market schemas, parameters, market IDs, authentication guidance, plan limits, billing, and integration examples. It is documentation-only. It does not return live odds or scores, access Product API data, or require a customer API key.

Cursor configuration

The plugin supplies this remote MCP configuration:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "therundown-documentation": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://docs.therundown.io/mcp"
    }
  }
}

This repository supplies Cursor plugin metadata and a standalone mcp.json configuration.

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
