About Toolzy

Toolzy is a remote MCP server for France's peer-to-peer tool-rental marketplace. It lets AI assistants find public listings, inspect listing details, and check rental availability and total price.

Key features

  1. 01Search listings by location and criteria
  2. 02View listing details and photos
  3. 03Check availability for a date range
  4. 04Calculate total rental price
  5. 05Read-only access to public listings

Use cases

  1. 01Find a tool to rent in a city
  2. 02Compare listing details and prices
  3. 03Check rental availability for planned dates

MCP support

It exposes search, listing-detail, and availability tools to MCP clients through a remote Streamable HTTP endpoint. Access to public listings is read-only and requires no authentication.

Configuration

Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

mcp.json · Universal config
{
"mcpServers": {
"toolzy": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"-y",
"mcp-remote"
]
}
}
}
Run commandnpx -y mcp-remote

Local servers need a runtime on your machine (e.g. Node.js 18+). Config file locations differ by client; see your client’s docs.

Connexion

Client MCP distant (recommandé)

Ajoutez simplement l'URL du serveur distant à votre client MCP :

https://mcp.toolzy.io/api/mcp
Claude Desktop (via le proxy mcp-remote)
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "toolzy": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://mcp.toolzy.io/api/mcp"]
    }
  }
}
Cursor / autres clients

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
