Tools
2| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| ids | array | Yes | One or more id values (format: 'op::{api}::{operation_id}') copied verbatim from twilio__search results — do not construct or guess IDs. Only call this tool after calling twilio__search and receiving results. Pass multiple ids to batch-fetch related operations in one call. |
| fields | array | No | Optional. Limit which top-level fields are returned for each result to reduce payload size. Omit to receive the full spec. For API operations, 'request_body' returns request parameters and body schema; 'response_fields' returns the response schema. Identity fields (api, method, path, operation_id) are always included. All other fields — including intent, summary, description, product, version, and response_schema — are excluded when fields is set. Use twilio__search first to get intent and summary; only use fields here when you need the raw parameter or response schema. |

New to MCP?
From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.
An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
