About sonicaura-mcp

sonicaura-mcp is a remote MCP server for AI-assisted audio processing. It offers stem and instrument separation, chord detection, MIDI export, denoising, and reverb, with task-status and credit tools alongside processing.

Key features

  1. 01Separate tracks into 2, 4, or 6 stems
  2. 02Isolate a selected instrument
  3. 03Detect chord progressions
  4. 04Export isolated instruments as MIDI
  5. 05Denoise music or speech
  6. 06Apply preset-based reverb

Use cases

  1. 01Create vocal or instrumental stems from a track
  2. 02Extract an instrument part for editing
  3. 03Identify chords and export a part as MIDI
  4. 04Clean noisy speech or add reverb to vocals

MCP support

Exposes audio processing tools through a remote MCP server using Streamable HTTP and OAuth 2.0. MCP clients can also request upload URLs, check task status, view credits, and check service health.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

sonicaura-mcp

Remote MCP server for audio stem separation, denoise, reverb, and MIDI export.

What it does

SonicAura processes audio using GPU-accelerated AI. It exposes atomic, 1-to-1 semantic tools optimized for LLM reasoning:

  • Stem Separation — split a track into 2, 4, or 6 stems
  • Quick Splitter — isolate any single instrument (guitar, piano, bass, drums)
  • Chord Recognition — detect chord progressions from the track
  • MIDI Export — convert isolated instruments into editable MIDI files
  • Denoise — remove noise from music or aggressively clean up speech
  • Reverb — add spatial reverb with presets: vocal_booth, studio_room, bathroom, concert_hall, church

Endpoint

Transport: http (Streamable HTTP) Auth: OAuth 2.0

Tools

ToolDescription
get_upload_urlGet a presigned URL for large file uploads (bypasses LLM limits).
extract_vocals2 stems: isolate Vocals and Instrumental (Karaoke).
split_4stems4 stems: Vocals, Drums, Bass, Other.
split_6stems6 stems: Vocals, Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drums, Other.
extract_single_instrumentQuick Splitter: isolate a specific instrument.
extract_chordsAI Chord Recognition: detect chord progression.
export_midiAI MIDI Export: convert an isolated instrument into MIDI.
denoise_audioRemove noise (use mode="music" or mode="speech").
apply_reverbAdd spatial reverb.
check_task_statusPoll a task (requires only task_id). Auto-detects all outputs.
list_audio_toolsList available capabilities.
get_my_creditsCheck remaining credits.
check_service_statusCheck server health.

Usage

Add the server to your MCP client config:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "audio-process": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://api.sonicaurastudio.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Then ask your client things like:

  • "Extract the vocals from this song"
  • "Split this track into 6 stems"
  • "Isolate the guitar track and export it as a MIDI file"
  • "Detect the chords in this song"
  • "Denoise this music but keep the background music"
  • "Add studio reverb to this vocal"

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
