About warpmetrics

warpmetrics is an MCP server that connects AI assistants to Warpmetrics agent telemetry. Its dynamically loaded tools let teams inspect runs, calls, costs, performance, and outcomes.

Key features

  1. 01Load tools dynamically from the API
  2. 02Inspect runs and calls
  3. 03Review costs and latency
  4. 04Check outcome statistics
  5. 05List available tools with the CLI

Use cases

  1. 01Find recent failed agent runs
  2. 02Review LLM spend and call costs
  3. 03Compare latency or success rates across agents

MCP support

Exposes Warpmetrics telemetry tools to MCP clients. Tool definitions are loaded dynamically from the Warpmetrics API and can be listed with `npx @warpmetrics/mcp --list-tools`.

Configuration

Local server config is the same for every client. Copy it into your client’s MCP config file.

mcp.json · Universal config
{
"mcpServers": {
"warpmetrics": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"-y",
"@warpmetrics/mcp"
]
}
}
}
Run commandnpx -y @warpmetrics/mcp

Local servers need a runtime on your machine (e.g. Node.js 18+). Config file locations differ by client; see your client’s docs.

Packages
npm@warpmetrics/mcp0.1.0

Tools

No tool list yet

Local servers expose tools only once running on your machine, and the maintainer has not provided a tool list.

MCP Registry npm

Installation

npm install -g @warpmetrics/mcp

Setup

1. Get your API key

Create an API key at warpmetrics.com/app/api-keys

2. Configure Claude Desktop

Add to your ~/.claude/claude_desktop_config.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "warpmetrics": {
      "command": "warpmetrics-mcp",
      "env": {
        "WARPMETRICS_API_KEY": "wm_live_your_api_key_here"
      }
    }
  }
}
3. Restart Claude Desktop

The Warpmetrics tools will now be available.

Available Tools

Tools are loaded dynamically from the Warpmetrics API and stay automatically in sync.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
