Environment variables to set
WALLET_KEY_FILESecretPath to a file holding the private key (0x…) of a dedicated wallet with a few dollars of USDC on Base. Optional: without it the server serves the free tier and exact 402 price quotes.
X402_MAX_PAYMENT_USDRefuse any single payment above this amount (default 1.00).
X402_SESSION_BUDGET_USDStop paying once this much has been spent in the process (default 5.00).

Local servers need a runtime on your machine (e.g. Node.js 18+). Config file locations differ by client; see your client’s docs.
