About Your Move Exercise Video API

Your Move Exercise Video API is an MCP server for AI agents and apps that need exercise media and structured training data. It combines searchable exercise details with workout and multi-week program generation.

Key features

  1. 01Search and filter 2,005+ exercises
  2. 02View exercise videos, instructions, and muscles
  3. 03Generate workouts with sets and rest times
  4. 04Create multi-week periodized programs
  5. 05List muscle groups and exercise types

Use cases

  1. 01Find muscle-specific exercises by equipment
  2. 02Generate an intermediate back workout
  3. 03Plan a multi-week muscle-building program

MCP support

It provides a hosted MCP server and can also run locally. MCP clients can call tools for exercise lookup and workout or program generation.

Configuration

Remote servers need no local install. Pick your client, then copy the config or install in one click.

Setup

Hosted (no install)

Clients that support remote MCP servers can connect to the hosted endpoint directly. Send your API key in the X-API-Key header.

claude mcp add --transport http ymove https://exercise-api.ymove.app/mcp --header "X-API-Key: your_api_key"

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
