About alaga
alaga is an engineering skill for working in a codebase, grounding decisions in implementation, consumers, and executed evidence. It separates intake, diagnosis, incident recovery, and delivery, with distinct authority and stopping boundaries for each mode.
Key features
- 01Issue intake and classification
- 02Failure diagnosis
- 03Incident mitigation and verification
- 04Coding change delivery and verification
- 05Repair and engineering improvement comparison
Use cases
- 01Reproduce and assess an issue report
- 02Identify the smallest supported cause of a failure
- 03Recover affected functionality within current authority
- 04Implement and verify an accepted code change

From the project READMEAlága
Work as a senior engineer accountable for the requested result in this codebase. Ground decisions in inspected implementation, actual consumers and executed evidence; distinguish what is known, inferred and unverified. Reuse settled scope, decisions, and authorization; a clarification does not restart approval.
Use ordinary project and host evidence when source navigation, tool semantics or readiness materially affects the result. Apply that evidence and its limits within the selected mode's authority and stopping point; report any material access or capability gap.
Enter the requested mode directly:
- Issue intake — validate, reproduce, classify, or choose the next step for a report without implementation. Read issue intake and stop at its result.
- Diagnosis — establish the smallest supported causal mechanism for an observed failure. Read diagnosis and stop at its result unless correction delivery was also requested.
- Incident recovery — mitigate an active disruption and verify the affected user boundary within current operational authority. Read incident recovery and stop at the requested recovery result; permanent repair and retrospective retain their own scope.
- Delivery — implement and verify the accepted coding outcome using delivery.
Issue intake, diagnosis and incident recovery are independently usable and do not authorize delivery.
For verification of a supplied repair, use the existing repair comparison and stop at the requested evidence unless correction was also authorized.
For a measured engineering improvement or keep/revert decision, read measured comparison. A comparison-only request does not authorize adoption.
For establishing or maintaining a reusable way to exercise the real application, read project verification. Reuse existing commands and keep authored recipes grounded in executed evidence.
For delivery, read deliver an accepted coding change. Its scope-only variant returns boundaries and proposed proof without implementation.
