Entry point for Alibaba Cloud Bailian web search: routes web search, webpage search, and latest-news queries. First identify the current connection: Token Plan (profile `token-plan` or base_url host `token-plan.<region>.maas.aliyuncs.com`) → built-in model search (`bl text chat --api responses --tool '{"type":"web_search"}'`); otherwise/default → Bailian MCP (`bl search web`). Fall back once to built-in model search only if MCP authentication fails, is unavailable, or transport fails. Use this skill to troubleshoot Token Plan web search failures or authentication confusion between the two paths. Negative triggers: ordinary Q&A, coding, or writing that the host can handle → do not trigger; knowledge-base RAG → bailian-cli (`bl knowledge`); image/video generation or voice → bailian-gen; fine-tuning/training → bailian-finetune; agents.yaml → bailian-managed-agent. Shared protocol (consent/version precheck/authentication/error reporting) is in bailian-protocol; official installation command: `bl skill init`.

Install

Copy the command and run it in a terminal.
