About blender-agent-studio
Blender Agent Studio is a skill suite for agents handling Blender asset creation, review, animation, rendering, and related workflows. It routes requests to focused specialist skills and emphasizes reproducible generation and visual and export validation.
Key features
- 01Routes work to specialist Blender skills
- 02Modeling and asset validation workflows
- 03Animation and character workflows
- 04Procedural and simulation workflows
- 05Rendering and benchmark workflows
- 06Export inspection and visual evidence
Use cases
- 01Create and validate a Blender asset
- 02Build procedural scenes or simulations
- 03Produce animations, renders, or turntables
- 04Compare agent or MCP capabilities
MCP support
Includes a workflow for choosing, configuring, or evaluating Blender MCP transport. It also advises against adding generic arbitrary-Python MCP execution.
Install

Select the smallest set of specialist workflows that covers the request, then
follow each selected SKILL.md completely.
Use routine defaults and continue authorized work; do not turn internal stage reviews into approval gates. The specialists bundle Astra execution guidance for continuity and focused verification. Start with a polished hero presentation, adapt lighting/background after visual inspection, and preserve diagnostic views.
Route the request

Use modeling plus validation for normal asset-generation requests. Add procedural, rendering, simulation, character, or animation workflows only when their respective capability is required.
Preserve the workflow contract
- Resolve and record the exact Blender executable and version.
- Convert the request into explicit parts, relationships, style, scale, animation, finish quality, export, evidence, and approval requirements. Ask focused clarification questions when competing interpretations change the subject, style, motion or usable deliverable. Record routine assumptions and map each must-have to its acceptance evidence; do not ask again about decisions the user has already supplied.
- Unless the user explicitly requests low-poly, blockout-only, or another constrained style, target a polished smooth asset with intentional secondary and tertiary detail rather than a primitive-looking low-density result.
- Satisfy named stage criteria, combining related build/review passes when useful: contract and references, graybox, primary and secondary forms, structural refinement, materials and textures, final surface polish, and export validation.
- Keep deterministic Python as the durable source for generated assets.
- Inspect both the authored scene and a fresh import of the exported artifact.
- Open and review fixed multiview evidence before claiming visual quality.
- Treat automated metrics as gates and measurements, not substitutes for request compliance or visual judgment.
- Keep benchmark conditions isolated and report failures, timing, and limitations alongside improvements.
Prefer the bundled bounded inspection and evidence tools when installed as a Codex or Claude Code plugin. Do not add generic arbitrary-Python MCP execution.
