About chrome-use

Install

Copy the command and run it in a terminal.

$npx skills add https://github.com/leeguooooo/chrome-use --skill chrome-use

After installing, type/chrome-usein Claude Code to confirm it loaded.

This is the discovery entry point. Load the installed binary's usage guide before browser commands:

chrome-use skills get core

Load it once per conversation. It holds the rules and routes each need to one core/<topic> reference; do not load --full by default. Reuse the same task session across calls. Follow the user's selected browser and tool preferences.

When the task is finished, end it with chrome-use done, adding --keep <tab> only for tabs the user still needs (a page they asked to see, a result to act on, a login left for them). Decide this yourself; never ask the user which tabs to close. Everything else you opened is closed.

If chrome-use is missing, install the GitHub Release binary, then load core:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/leeguooooo/chrome-use/main/install.sh | sh

On Windows, in PowerShell:

irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/leeguooooo/chrome-use/main/install.ps1 | iex

The CLI bundles its workflow documentation. Upgrading the binary updates that content; chrome-use skills update refreshes this installed discovery entry. Use chrome-use skills list to discover specialized guides.

Upgrade

When any chrome-use command prints chrome-use X is available, tell the user and offer to run chrome-use upgrade (it updates the CLI and this skill). Check without changing anything: chrome-use upgrade --check. The user may also just say "升级 chrome-use" / "upgrade chrome-use".

If the skill came from somewhere upgrade can't refresh:

  • Claude Code plugin: claude plugin update chrome-use@leeguooooo-plugins
