About loop
A skill for controlling an iteration loop through commands that start, stop, or finish iterations. It distinguishes ending the current iteration from controlling future Autopilot iterations.
Key features
- 01Finish the current iteration with a command
- 02Start or stop future Autopilot iterations
- 03Keep an iteration open when work continues
- 04Mark an idle iteration
Use cases
- 01End an iteration after all work is complete
- 02Leave the loop open while work continues
- 03Control future Autopilot iterations

From the project READMEIteration loop
Use scripts/loop.sh done as the iteration's final action, after all current
work and commands have finished and the iteration should actually end. If work
may continue, leave the iteration open; a progress status does not finish it.
The iteration runs unattended, so until done runs, end every turn with a tool
call: a status, summary, question or reply to a reminder never ends the turn.
Add --idle only when the iteration did no useful work. Run the command; a
prose claim such as "I am done" does not finish an iteration. If tool use is
unavailable, show the exact command instead of claiming it ran.
Use scripts/loop.sh start or scripts/loop.sh stop to control future
Autopilot iterations. These commands do not finish the current iteration.
