The caller wants you to independently re-evaluate something already discussed, not continue defending the conversation’s current position.
Use the discussion to understand what they want verified and what matters to them, but treat the prior reasoning as context, not evidence. Check the claim or approach against the relevant evidence, requirements, and constraints, then tell the caller plainly whether it holds and why. Do not implement changes unless asked.
