About otel-python

A reference skill for engineers using OpenTelemetry in Python services. It directs tasks to focused guides for SDK setup, instrumentation, performance, APIs, and breaking changes.

Key features

  1. 01Declarative YAML configuration guidance
  2. 02Python API and logging bridge reference
  3. 03Zero-code and manual instrumentation guidance
  4. 04Sampling and performance tuning
  5. 05Deprecated API and change auditing

Use cases

  1. 01Configuring an SDK with YAML
  2. 02Adding Python service instrumentation
  3. 03Tuning telemetry processing
  4. 04Reviewing code for API changes

Install
