Weather is a skill for retrieving current conditions and forecasts using wttr.in, with Open-Meteo as a JSON fallback. It is intended for quick lookups or programmatic weather queries without API keys.

Install

Copy the command and run it in a terminal.

Weather

Two free services, no API keys needed.

wttr.in (primary)

Quick one-liner:

  • URL-encode spaces: wttr.in/New+York
  • Airport codes: wttr.in/JFK

Open-Meteo (fallback, JSON)

Free, no key, good for programmatic use:

Find coordinates for a city, then query. Returns JSON with temp, windspeed, weathercode.
