手动安装

先决条件

1. 安装 uv。在 macOS 和 Linux 上，最简单的方法是：

   curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh
   

2. 获取 Congress.gov API 密钥。

3. 安装 Claude Desktop、Claude Code，或其他支持 MCP 集成的客户端

初始设置

1. 完成先决条件

2. 克隆此仓库，并使用 cd 进入目录：

   git clone http://github.com/AshwinSundar/congress_gov_mcp
   

   cd congress_gov_mcp
   

3. 安装依赖项：

   uv sync
   

4. 根据模板创建 .env 文件：

   cp .env.template .env
   

5. 将 Congress.gov API 密钥添加到 .env 文件中：

congress_gov_mcp/.env

CONGRESS_GOV_API_KEY="your-api-key-here"

2. 复制 uv 安装路径的绝对路径：
