About Biteship MCP by usefulapi

Biteship MCP by usefulapi is a hosted server for using Biteship shipping services through Claude, Cursor, or other MCP clients. It supports rate comparison, pickup booking, order cancellation, and shipment tracking, with tools that distinguish read operations from order changes.

Key features

  1. 01List couriers and search areas
  2. 02Compare shipping rates
  3. 03View saved locations and orders
  4. 04Track shipments
  5. 05Create shipping orders
  6. 06Cancel orders

Use cases

  1. 01Compare courier rates before shipping
  2. 02Book a courier pickup
  3. 03Track a parcel in transit
  4. 04Cancel an existing shipping order

MCP support

Exposes Biteship shipping operations as MCP tools. The hosted endpoint uses OAuth and a Biteship API key; order creation and cancellation are write operations.

Biteship MCP by usefulapi

Use your Biteship account from Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client. Compare courier rates, book courier pickups, cancel orders and track shipments. Hosted, no local install: connect with your own credentials.

Live endpoint: https://biteship.usefulapi.io/mcp · Homepage: https://usefulapi.io

Connect

  • Claude (claude.ai, Desktop): open Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, and paste https://biteship.usefulapi.io/mcp.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http biteship https://biteship.usefulapi.io/mcp, then run /mcp to log in.
  • VS Code: Add to VS Code.
  • Cursor and other clients: add the URL as a remote MCP server:
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "biteship": {
      "url": "https://biteship.usefulapi.io/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Add only the URL. Do not add an Authorization header or an API key to the client config: the server signs you in with OAuth, and the login page asks for your Biteship credentials.

Step-by-step setup, where to find your credentials, and FAQ: https://usefulapi.io/biteship/

On first connect you provide a Biteship API key (Biteship dashboard → Integrations → Pengaturan → Tambah Kunci API; keys start with biteship_live. or biteship_test.). The server validates it and stores it per user. No keys go in config files.

New to MCP?

From what the protocol is to installing your first server, these answers cover most first questions.

An open protocol that defines how AI applications connect to external tools and data in a uniform way. Clients talk to the model; MCP servers provide tools, resources and prompt templates. They exchange standard messages, so one server can be reused by many clients.
