⚠️ 実験的な機能

glab skills は上流で 実験的 とされています。

• スキルバンドルの形式はまだ安定していません

get は指定したバンドルファイルを標準出力に書き込みます。デフォルトは SKILL.md です。スキルはインストールしません。install コマンドは、自動化や AI エージェントのワークフロー向けにスキルバンドルをセットアップします。インストール済みのスキルをソースから更新するには、glab skills update <name> または glab skills update --all を使用します。名前と --all は併用できず、いずれか一方が必須です。

glab は、インストール済みのバンドルスキルが現在のバイナリに同梱されたバージョンと異なる場合にも通知します。更新チェックの実行時には、キュレーションされたリモートスキルの更新についても通知することがあります。これらのチェックは、コマンドごとではなく、更新チェックの周期に従って GitLab.com から取得します。通知はベストエフォートであり、notify_skill_updates または GLAB_NOTIFY_SKILL_UPDATES で無効にできます。通知があってもファイルが自動的に更新されることはありません。内容を確認し、必要に応じて glab skills update <name> または glab skills update --all を使用してください。

glab skills list はネットワークリクエストを行わずに、バンドルされたカタログと埋め込みのリモートレジストリを読み込みます。orbit レジストリエントリは、認証なしで GitLab.com 上の公開プロジェクト gitlab-org/orbit/knowledge-graph から skills/orbit-wrapper ツリー全体を取得します。latest はプロジェクトのデフォルトブランチを指し、最新のリリースタグを指すものではありません。インストーラーは、インストール先ディレクトリに合わせて上流のフロントマター名を orbit に書き換えます。エージェントが使用できるようにする前に、リモートの内容を確認してください。この内容は、インストール済みの glab バイナリとは独立して変更される可能性があります。

デフォルトのインストール先は、現在の Git リポジトリのルートにある .agents/skills/orbit/ です。--global を指定すると ~/.agents/skills/orbit/ が使用され、--path は現在の作業ディレクトリを基準に解決されます。既存のスキルファイルを上書きしてインストールするには --force が必要です。glab skills update orbit は、標準の場所にある変更済みのコンテンツを再取得して上書きし、--all はそれらの場所にインストール済みのすべてのスキルを更新します。カスタムの --path で指定した場所は更新時に検出されません。必要に応じて、内容を確認したカスタムパスに --force を指定して明示的に再インストールしてください。

ヘルプテキストには今も「バンドル」と記載されていますが、list、名前を指定した install、および update はキュレーションされたリモートスキルも対象にします。名前を指定しない glab skills install では、バンドルされたコアの glab スキルのみがインストールされます。glab skills get orbit ではこのリモートスキルを出力できません。get はバンドルのみを対象とします。リモートスキルをインストールしても、Orbit 実行ファイルがダウンロードまたは実行されることはありません。管理対象バイナリのインストールは、別途 glab orbit --install で行います。

トラブルシューティング

skills: command not found：

• glab skills は CLI スキルと拡張機能を管理します。
• glab version でバージョンを確認し、必要に応じてアップグレードしてください。

スキルのインストール／更新に失敗する、または応答がなくなる：

• これは実験的な機能のため、動作が不安定な場合があります。
• 同梱スキルの場合は、インストール先の権限とインストール済みカタログを確認してください。インストールにネットワークアクセスや glab の認証は不要です。
• orbit などの厳選されたリモートスキルの場合は、公開されている gitlab.com と gitlab-org/orbit/knowledge-graph プロジェクトへの接続、およびインストール先の権限を確認してください。これらのダウンロードに認証は不要です。セルフマネージド環境のみ、またはエアギャップ環境のホストでも、GitLab.com へのアクセスが必要です。
• 変更されたフラグや要件については、glab skills get --help、glab skills install --help、glab skills list、glab skills update --help を確認してください。

  Install bundled `SKILL.md` files to `.agents/skills/`, the
  cross-agent standard defined by the Agent Skills specification. This works
  with GitLab Duo Agent Platform, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and any
  other compliant agent.

  By default, only the core `glab` skill is installed. Pass a positional
  `name` argument to install a specific bundled skill instead. Run
  `glab skills list` to see what is available.

  Install scope:

  - By default, skills are installed for the current project, in `.agents/skills/`
    at the root of the current Git repository.
  - Use `--global` to install skills for the current user, in
    `~/.agents/skills/`.
  - Use `--path` to install skills to a custom directory. The path is resolved
    relative to the current working directory, not the repository root.

  Re-fetch installed agent skills from their source (bundled in this
  glab binary, or the curated remote registry) and overwrite the on-disk
  copy if it differs.

  By default, updates only the named skill in every well-known location
  it is installed (the current project's '.agents/skills/' and the
  user-scope '~/.agents/skills/'). Use --all to update every installed
  skill in those locations.

  Skills whose on-disk content already matches the source are left alone.
  Skills installed via 'glab skills install --path' are not considered —
  update only knows about the two well-known locations.
